Excellent Aircraft Availability Stanford Flying Club strives to maintain an optimal ratio of members per aircraft.

Unlike other clubs who usually maintain an extremely high ratio of members e.g. per Cessna-172 aircraft, Stanford Flying Club operates with a so-called floating pool: when activity slows down, fewer airplanes are kept on line, to keep the costs low.

When more Members want to fly, additional aircraft are added to the flight line from a reserve aircraft pool, or through additional leasing arrangements. The net result is excellent availability at a reasonable cost.

Excellent Rates
Our Cessna-172SP Skyhawk services start at $124/Hr "Dry" [Standard Plan Services w. Dry Aircraft, 06/01/2010]. Fuel purchases, Club Approved Instructor-Pilots, optional ADW®, exclusive Cessna course materials, complementary services or optional products, sales tax and other / governmental fee recovery, and some other Club fees/Dues are in addition.

Cessna-172SP aircraft typically use 9-12 Gallons per Hour. Prices of fuel & oil service, rates and terms and availability may be adjusted at any time. But there is no large initial investment, and every effort will be made to keep flying within the reach of all Members. For the most current rate information please inquire at the Club.
