Pilot Licenses and Ratings

This training is for those pilots, who want to be able to fly, with a passenger, in an aircraft certified in the Light Sport category, such as the Cessna-162 Skycatcher.
To obtain this pilot license you will need a minimum of 20 hours of flight time, which must include 15 hours with an Instructor and 5 hours of Solo Flight. The average number of hours to complete this certification may range from 25 to 40 hours of flying time.

There
are no requirements to begin this training. Sport Pilots are allowed to use a valid U.S. driver's license as evidence of medical eligibility. Any limitation on the driver's license must also be complied with while acting as a Sport Pilot. |
