This training is for those pilots, who want to be able to fly, with a passenger, in an aircraft certified in the Light Sport category, such as the Cessna-162 Skycatcher.

To obtain this pilot license you will need a minimum of 20 hours of flight time, which must include 15 hours with an Instructor and 5 hours of Solo Flight. The average number of hours to complete this certification may range from 25 to 40 hours of flying time.

 
Prerequisites:
 

There are no requirements to begin this training. Sport Pilots are allowed to use a valid U.S. driver's license as evidence of medical eligibility. Any limitation on the driver's license must also be complied with while acting as a Sport Pilot.
